Plot

Our film is about a business man in the London, who is made redundant due to the ever changing economic background, and his realization of oncoming decline. In the beginning of the film the business man is arrogant and rude. When the tramp begs him for money, he pretends not to have any money quite easily. This shows that the business man has no heart. He doesn’t find it hard to lie to tramp, when others in that situation would. The character is this way because he makes an assumption about the tramp due to the fact he is a tramp, the main character is meant to act as a mirror to how the people in the city where acting before the recesion. The whole film is a story of how people can be driven by money and forget others in this persute.

Towards the end of the film we see the business man walking around looking powerless and not as confident as he looked at the begining of the film, we see him walking towards a shop, then he goes inside the shop and buys a bottle of alchol but when he goes to pay for it he sees the picture of someone he cares about and that changes his mind as it becomes clear to him that there is more to life then money.

The film is meant to be a story that money shouldn’t be the driving force of everyones life, and when trying to come up with this plot are group was trying to think what is effecting modren Britain the most and the recession was an obverse one, but we wanted an film that not only reflected what is going on but one that has a morale and a meaning that can be easiely understood.
